Watch out, though, because prices go up (significantly) on the weekends. Rooms are well above average, and an absolute steal mid-week. Worth treating yourself to an overnight stay. They are not welcome there at least by me and many others who do not have or want any. People with kids do not bring them to casinos. I love Harrah's Joliet and will continue to go there with the nice rooms and great service. I went to Blue Chip and all the kids there was autrocious!!! Cannot even go in the pool with all of them running around and everything else. Not me I never had kids and do not think they are cute at least not at casinos where I am spending my money and trying to have a great time.
What is there to do for them anyway? All I hear is screaming loud talking and them banging in to you and parents think it is cute. Parents who bring kids to a casino should have their head examined and I think all the casinos should ban them from it.
One brought a baby? Why to a casino? Empress used to not let kids in and now they let them in and the pool. To all the badmouthers about not being able to bring kids to the restaurant area I fully agree and I do not think they should be able to be in the hotel either.
